Making people happy, and why we should be on THAT team...

I love happy people, and it is super nice when they are happy because of something I did! Yay me, making people happy, 10 points!

Since having children, I have noticed there are two teams that have something to say to you...

Team 1: The 'You Should have' Club

Team 2: The 'You did it Mama' Club

Everyone wants to weigh in on the action... walk to the shop with your kid, its pretty rare for a child, especially under 2 to go into a shop and not have a little cry, because hey "Magazineeee" (or as my daughter calls it "Mac and Cheese" and oh...100000 packs of sweeties and that one man who smells of cabbage is stood too close for comfort... a little meltdown here and there is inevitable, and part of the holy right of childhood passage!

Look around, did you get smiles of endearment and "hey, you're doing great, need a hand?" or did you get eye rolls, dirty looks and "Baby needs this, you shouldn't let them do that, stop your baby crying now omg"...

I have had both, and while in an ideal world I would like to skip along with my children in a fairy-tale land where only unicorns greet us to say hello...I would MUCH rather have someone offer a hand and tell me I'm doing great because its HARD work Mama. I see you. We got you!

Lets us all be on the "hey you're doing great" team and may all our shopping trips be a dream (or done online) !
